Our buildings history
1940-2004 hoover's department store
The first store opened in Whitesburg, offering home furnishings. More than just a business, it stood as a long-standing family enterprise that shaped traditions, supported neighbors, and became woven into the fabric of the community.
2015 - 2023 heritage kitchen
this local kitchen served american comfort food and focused on using fresh, local ingredients.
2020 - sakura
a japanese restaurant, specializing primarily in hibachi-style grilling, opens in the building. bringing sizzling flavors and a vibrant dining experience to the community.
2024 - a dream was born
with a dream to bring people together, we wanted to create more than just a restaurant. we wanted to build a space where familiar food, local artists, and great company feel like home.
2025 - we opened our doors
with a vision to create a gathering spot, we launched our restaurant, offering delicious breakfast and lunch.
